We suggest that you ask yourself if a holiday in the
subcontinent of India is right for you. India is a
developing country and things do not always work
perfectly. You must be prepared for aggravations; for
example, India can be a very noisy place, particularly
during festivals, and the noise often starts early.
You also need to be prepared to chase ‘wildlife’ out of
your room on occasions! Do not expect the standards of
hygiene, maintenance and safety to be as they are at home.
Bear in mind that the safety standards with which the
suppliers must comply are local standards and not British or
European. To enjoy a holiday in this part of the world you
need to be patient, tolerant and flexible.
